Returns, exchanges, cancellation and withdrawal

picobini rents out baby clothing on subscription. You do not buy the clothing; you use it for as long as your subscription runs and then send it back to us. With the Premium package, you may keep some boxes (see “Keeping and buying”). Returning worn clothing is therefore the normal case with us.

Condition of the clothing

The clothing may be worn and washed. You do not need to keep labels or the original packaging.

Stains and damage from everyday life with a baby are covered by our clothing protection. We do not charge anything for this.

Please wash the clothing before returning it.

Every box comes with a list of all items. Please use it to check that everything is included before you send the box back. Items that are missing or not returned are charged according to the price list below. We will ship your next box as soon as this amount has been paid.

Price list for missing items

Per item: socks (pair) €3, bib €4, hat €5, tights €6, bodysuit €7, T-shirt €7, joggers €10, sweater €12, jacket €25.

If an entire box is not returned even after a reminder, we charge for its items according to this price list. You may prove that we have suffered no loss or a smaller loss. Stains and normal damage are covered by the clothing protection and are not charged.

Exchanging your box

If the size no longer fits, you exchange your box for the next size on our website. Within 6 months, you can exchange your box up to 3 times. As long as your subscription is running, you can also simply keep your box.

You only send the old box back once the new one has arrived, at the latest 10 days afterwards. Put all items in the box, attach the enclosed return label and hand the parcel in at the post office. With the Premium package, you do not need to return the boxes you are allowed to keep (see “Keeping and buying”).

Cancellation and return at the end of the subscription

Your subscription has a minimum term of 6 or 12 months, depending on what you chose when ordering. It begins when you receive your first box. You take out your subscription for this fixed term: the price for the entire minimum term (monthly price times 6 or 12) is owed and is billed in monthly instalments. Ordinary cancellation before the end of the minimum term is not possible; your statutory rights, in particular your right of withdrawal, remain unaffected.

After the minimum term, your subscription continues monthly at the same monthly price until you cancel. You can cancel in your customer account under “Subscription” with “Cancel”, or by sending us a message, no later than 24 hours before the next charge. We will remind you by email before the minimum term ends.

After your subscription ends, you send your box back to us within 14 days using the return label. With the Premium package, you do not need to return the boxes you are allowed to keep (see “Keeping and buying”).

Shipping costs

Shipping is free for you: your first box, up to 3 exchange boxes within 6 months and all returns.

The return label is included in every box.

Keeping and buying

With the Premium package, you may keep up to 2 boxes with a 6-month minimum term, or up to 4 boxes in total with a 12-month minimum term. You decide whether to keep a box when you exchange it or at the end of your subscription, as long as your allowance has not been used up. Any further box goes back to us: for example, if you have already kept 2 boxes on a 6-month term, you send back your current box at the third exchange. If your subscription continues monthly after the minimum term, no further boxes are added to this allowance; you can still exchange boxes until your subscription ends. With the Starter and Family packages, you can buy the entire box you are currently using at any time. We will tell you the price on request before you buy. You do not need to send back items that you keep or buy.

Cancelling before shipping

You can cancel your order until your first box has been shipped. We will then refund any amounts already paid in full, including any advance payment. To do so, write to us at the address under “Contact”.

Information on the right of withdrawal

This information follows the statutory model wording and therefore uses the formal form of address.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the first box.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Picobini Babytextilien e. U., Seitenstettengasse 5/37, 1010 Vienna, Austria, email: hello@picobini.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

You can also fill in and submit the model withdrawal form or another clear statement electronically on our website at https://picobini.com/en/pages/vertrag-widerrufen. If you use this option, we will send you confirmation of receipt of such a withdrawal without delay (e.g. by email).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

We will bear the cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Damage and problems with delivery

Please check your box on arrival against the enclosed list. If an item is missing, something is damaged or you received the wrong size, please contact us straight away. We will replace it free of charge.

Refunds

We refund to the payment method you used, unless agreed otherwise. Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to process the refund.

If you have not received your refund within a reasonable period, please contact us.

This policy does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws, including rights that may apply if clothing is defective, not as described or not delivered within the agreed timeframe.
